A type of photograph frame advertised in the Victorian Trading Company's catalog. It is much taller than it is wide (8 by 2.5 inches), and is apparently designed to fit a photograph where one of the two people formerly present has been cut out of the picture. The catalog says, "a photograph was an expensive luxury not to be discarded when one of the subjects was 'removed' -- whether scissored off or folded back, this slender frame accommodated the lonely heart perfectly!"
