This has several advantages;
you get increased stability because you can use the chair as a support, and when the small hill that the chair deposits you on actually starts sloping downwards, you can push off from the chair, thus increasing your speed, which is good since it brings added stability.

And finally, if you travel in a chair lift that's otherwise packed with skiers, there is a good possibility that they will have gotten so far ahead of you once you let go that you have space to maneuver around in.

The last point may not seem that important, but experience has shown me that some skiers tend to forget that they have a snowboarder right beside them since they're looking forwards and can't see the snowboard because it's shorter than skis.
This means that they may steer into you space or place their skiing poles in your path.

At the heart of Lyngby is a well-assorted shopping area where a medium-sized shopping center (Lyngby Storcenter) and a department store of about the same size (Magasin) and a lot of smaller shops make sure that it's rarely necessary to go anywhere else if you need a particular item.

In the west end of the shopping area there is a decently-sized library overlooking Lyngby sø, which is a lake with a circumference of about 5km.

The center of the town also has a bus and train station, which , in conjunction with two freeways crossing through the city, makes it very accessible.

In the north end of the town the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is located. This is one of the largest universities in Denmark.

Denmark (idea)http://everything2.com/user/Marvinius/writeups/DenmarkMarviniushttp://everything2.com/user/Marvinius2004-12-30T03:08:00Z2004-12-30T03:08:00Z(Danish: Danmark)

In 2003 there were 5,387,174 people living in Denmark.
The inhabitants are reserved, but also relaxed and friendly.

The largest religion is protestantic of which most Danes are members, but few are observant.

Being close to the Gulf stream, Denmark has a mild climate. Usually it gets no colder than -10°C in winter and no warmer than 25°C in the summer.

The welfare system is extensive. Public schools and universities are free to attend, all necessary health care (except medication and dentistry) is paid by the state. If you haven't got a job, whether it's because you're disabled, studying or retired, you're usually eligible for economical support as well. This means that people can get a university education in Denmark without having to work or indebting themselves.

The downside is that the taxes are very high in Denmark. Usually about 50% of a working peron's salary goes to the state. All goods in Denmark are taxed by a 25% base tax. I recommend you keep them in mind whenever you've got a soldering iron in your hand;

The soldering iron needs to be hot enough. fine temperature control isn't necessary unless you solder extremely sensitive electronics. The most reliable way to apply too much heat to whatever you're soldering is to hold an almost-hot-enough iron on the components for too long.

The tip of your soldering iron is covered with a special coating. This makes it easier for the iron to break the surface tension on the solder. never file off the tip for whatever reason. I guarantee you the tip will be ruined. If you feel the tip isn't pointy enough or what have you, replace it.

Do not use the soldering iron to melt the solder on the tip and then apply it. The cold components will reject the solder and the joint will be a failure. Usually you can recognize a joint where the components weren't hot enough by observing the color.
