J D Wetherspoon Free House
Located in George Street, Edinburgh - this building, as the name suggests, used to be a bank, and was one of the major offices of the Bank of Scotland - I believe second only to their head office on The Mound. Many original architectural features remain, such as the decorative ceilings and elaborate wooden wall panels - and a pretty large amount of drinking space, too.
There's also everything else you might expect from a Wetherspoon's pub - fairly cheap prices, no music, and nice chocolate cake.
A popular pre-club or after-work venue, it seems
Also the name of Wetherspoons establishments in Derby, Southampton and Stevenage
