Godin are a
Canadian company who make very good
acoustic and
electric guitars. Their head office is located in
Montreal and they build their
guitars in five different locations, four in
Quebec and one in
New Hampshire.
Godin guitars are
assembled in their
Berlin, New Hampshire factory. The necks and bodies are all made in
La Patrie, Quebec. They are also known for their
acoustic guitars, which they make under the Seagull name.
I personally own a Godin SD electric guitar. It's a heavy guitar with a nice feel and good action, even if it did cost a bit of money. To
quote Godin's
web site (http://www.godinguitars.com/);
"Nice work if you can get one".
