The Sweet Jesus is a cocktail. First, make a pink gin (gin and bitters). Then, add a smallish lump of marzipan and let sit for an hour in a cool, dark place while the pink gin and the marzipan get to know each other. Serve.
The Bitter Jesus is another cocktail: It's just like the Sweet Jesus, but substitute wormwood and gall for the marzipan and let sit for the same hour, in the same cool, dark place. Garnish with ashes and serve gently in an atmosphere of sorrowful contemplation.
