Auckland,
New Zealand. His latest album was
Savage thoughts with the
hit single Screems from da old plantation.
Many of his lyrics are grounded in the cultural alienation experienced by modern pacific islanders who have the option of staying in the islands, preserving their family structures, culture and social support structures or leaving for the bright lights New Zealand or New Zealand, where they are isolated from their families, culture and ways of life.
Unlike many pacific island artists he works in English not his native tongue (Samoan in this case).
