A young
nobleman with a fine
future, Dotti called
one day hearing
sermon by
Saint Philip Beniti. Moved by the
Holy
Spirit, he asked to join the
Servite Order. Being both physically and
morally sound, he was gladly accepted and soon became a
priest, preaching
throughout
Tuscany. He converted many (included
Blessed Bartholomew)
and worked
miracles in the
Lord's name. He won for his
order many of
the
hermits at
Vallucola. He later retired into being a hermit himself,
praying and making
penance until his
death.
