Lisa Brenner is a television actress best known for her roles in TNT's hit television movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear and her role as Anne Howard in the 2000 Mel Gibson war drama The Patriot.

Born February 12, 1974 on Long Island, Lisa attended Barnard College where she majored in theater and English. Her first role was on the soap opera "All My Children", followed by a stint as the 5th incarnation of the long-running schemer Maggie Cory on "Another World".

She made guest appearances on "Chicago Hope", "Boy Meets World", "The Magnificent Seven", and "Turks" before landing the role of Heath Ledger's love interest Howard in The Patriot.

Subsequently, she appeared on both "CSI" and "CSI: Miami", took the lead role in the small independent film Finding Home, married Independence Day writer and producer Dean Devlin, and appeared in The Librarian, with a scheduled reappearance in 2006's The Librarian 2.

Her latest role is on her husband's Sci Fi Channel mini-series The Triangle as Helen Paloma, a woman searching for the truth behind the Bermuda Triangle.
