Cookie made by National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) consisting of two dark chocolate wafers with a distinctively ornate impress held together by white frosting consisting of vegetable shortening and sugar with a touch of gelatin. The common American practise is to serve these with whole milk; many unscrew the two halves and lick the frosting off first. This particular sweet has engendered many variants, for instance Double Stuff (with more frosting); smaller and larger varieties, cereal and ice cream.

About the only thing not tried is a return to its original formula, which was thought to be vanilla, hence the name, which suggests "Golden Rounds".
