A 14-foot long
sculpture by
Wim Delvoye that chews, swallows, digests, and ultimately, defecates (onto a small
conveyor belt behind
plexiglas). On display in
New York's
New Museum of Contemporary Art it's fed twice daily (meals provided -- for the exposure -- by local restaurants) at 11AM (before the museum opens) and at 4PM. It excretes promptly at 4PM.
Either the funniest, or most useless machine ever. I'm not making this up.
