In a
taelon's natural state it is a
translucent, blue ball of
energy. For humans sake they take on a more
human form something between The
Buddah and
Queen Nefertiti (as
Majel Barrett Roddenberry puts it).
Taelons are also
genderless and incapable of
reproduction due to
genetic tampering in an effort to advance their
eveloution. Taelons are also connected by a somewhat
telepathic network called the
commonality, in which the will of one taelon can not take an action that the entire
population does not agree on... or so it was intended.
Taelon language has no past or future tense, is sounds to a human like whispered singing.
