There are two places in Portland, OR known as "The Rose Garden".

The first is the Rose Garden at Washington Park also known as the International Rose Test Garden. This is just what it sounds like, a very large, beautifully landscaped garden full of roses. It is located in Washington Park on the hills overlooking downtown and has a stunning view. Everyone who has visitors in the spring and summer brings them to this Rose Garden. Founded in 1917 and is one of the most famous in the world.

The other famous Rose Garden in Portland is the Rose Garden Arena, home of the Portland Trailblazers basketball team. Both the team and arena are owned by Microsoft founder Paul Allen. The arena has a seating capacity of 21,538 and cost over $262 million to build. In addition to basketball the arena plays host to a wide variety of other sports and concert events.
