The characters, June and Louise, sing Let Me Entertain You in the Broadway musical Gypsy. In the show, June and her older and less blonde sister Louise, sing this selection in their vaudeville acts from childhood through late adolescence in the form May We Entertain You. Through the years June dresses and styles herself to always portray a young girl while Louise portrays a boy. By June's middle or late teen years as vaudeville's popularity decreases she finds it difficult to pull off the little girl routine and eventually runs off to Hollywood with a suitor. Later in the musical, Louise incorporates this song into her burlesque routine under the name of Gypsy Rose Lee as she strips while leaving some to the imagination.

Some old and some new tricks,

And if you're real good,
I'll make you feel good,
I want your spirits to climb.

Just Let Me Entertain You
And we'll have a real good time, yes sir.
We'll have a real good time.
