There are a vast number of wonderful extra virgin olive oils available. For cooking, use Colavita, an imported Italian oil bottled by an American company. For salads, crostini, or to simply dip bits of crusty bread in, try one of the higher end oils (some of which might run as much as $30 or more). These are worth it. But buy small bottles because you wouldn't want it to go rancid before you are finished with it.
