i am not a weightlifter in the sense that i spend a lot of time in the gym, you know, going from exercise to exercise and counting out reps, that's not me, and that's not the typical weightlifter. weightlifters are people who develop skills and motor patterns and consistency within those skills and patterns while training the raw ability that they need to pull harder, get faster. some weightlifters can be meatheads, but the movements require an athletic intelligence and passion that you don't find in anything else
