To be hypercorrect, there is an OFFICIAL English translation of the
Latin Ave Maria in the English translation of the
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
This is the scriptural part of the prayer.
Hail Mary (or Rejoice, Mary)
Full of grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
This is the intercessory part of the prayer.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Also, all the Latin versions on this node except for Tiefling's are WAY off. They are accurate in spirit, but are really modified versions used when singing the Ave Maria (e.g. Schubert's Ave Maria).
A final note: in Latin, Jesu is usually spelled "Iesu" (and is pronounced as such also).
