"TV's Puppet Pals" is a cartoon within a cartoon on both "
Dexter's Laboratory" and "
Powerpuff Girls." Basically two puppets,
Mitch and
Clem, hitting each other on the head, and yelling "
Bonk!" A typical clip (from the
PPG episode "
Mommy Fearest"):
PUPPET PAL MITCH: (Hits Clem on the head with his bonkstick) Bonk-Bonk.
PUPPET PAL CLEM: Who's there?
PUPPET PAL MITCH: (Bonk) Bonk.
PUPPET PAL CLEM: Bonk who?
PUPPET PAL MITCH: (Bonk) Just bonk.
They also frequently appear in the Dexter's Laboratory cartoon "Justice Friends." One entire episode of JF is a nightmare about the Puppet Pals. Episodes in which the Puppet Pals have appeared:
