Inventor (maybe) of Dylanology and (for sure) of garbology - the study of the lives of the rich and famous via examining what they throw away. Garbology grew out of his interest in the life and lyrics of Bob Dylan (e.g. the xian LPs like Slow Train Coming were "anti-semitic", and contained clues to Dylan's attempt to "kick heroin"; Dylan now "has AIDS"?); in later years there were pieces on other celebs, including, in recent years, "insights" into the life of JFK, Jr.
