The Adventures of Willy Beamish (1991) is a DOS, Sega CD and Amiga game developed by Dinamix(Sierra). It's an Adventure game (like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, etc.) in 3rd Person Perspective.
The game is about Willy (a primary school boy who likes skating and has a frog named Horny). The adventure starts in detention and your challenge is to escape from the school.
Some elements from this game are just great:
- Time: Time passes like in real-life
- Inventory: A bag full of items
- Game over: You can die
- Trouble Meter: You can't do whatever you want, you have to follow some behaivor rules and if you don't follow them you are sent to a military school
- The End: There are several alternative solutions to the game
In my opinion, it's one of the best abandonware ever made.
