Joan Jett/Pat Benatar transposition.
Just because they were both short-haired, brunette, rock singers from the early 1980s, does not mean they were actually the same person. Hard to believe, but true.
Pat Benatar is known for "Love Is A Battlefield" and "Shadows Of The Night" and things like that. She had more of a melodic, poppy edge, whereas Joan Jett (who wrote and performed the above songs) was much more heavy and hard (while still being poppy.)
Perhaps you wanted to marry both of them. A threesome involving Pat Benatar and Joan Jett might be confusing to you, though.
