Singer-songwriter originally from Denver and now living in New York City.

Best known for her 1995 hit, "I Kissed A Girl", which is about what it sounds like. Jill's own professed sexual orientation seems to be bisexual, BTW.

She's got 3 other albums--a little-known 1991 one, 1997's Happy Town, and her newest, Pink Pearl. Her songs tend to be folk-rock ditties with quirky, intelligent lyrics and quite a few story songs.

Opened for Warren Zevon in early 2000, and had Warren sing a verse of "I Kissed A Girl". It was hilarious.
