Smells like a bowling alley. A small club holding less than 500 people mostly for concerts. Really is quintessential
Jersey Shore in feel. Gets a number of high-quality acts, really.
Bon Jovi got their start here, being from right in the area, after all.
Acoustics are decent but not great. There's a large standing room area in the front, and then some tables in the back up above the floor. Now that I'm old, I sit at the tables with my friends when we see a show there.
I was talking to Steve Hogarth of Marillion recently, and he said, "That place smells like cats." I think that sums it up as well. It's kind of amazing the place does as well as it does, because it's kind of a dump.
