Ehem. I must protest this abuse of my name (there; now you all know what it is). Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve. The name means "granted" due to the fact that Seth was granted to Eve by God after their first son Cain killed their second son (Able) because he was pissed off that God liked Able's sheep better than his veggies. Therefore, Seth is the father (or at least one of the primary fathers) of all of humanity.

Personally, I'd rather be named after the father of everyone than some crazy Egyptian god (whose proper name is Set, not Seth). Not that I'm religious or anything. I just think it's cool.
