This is not your ordinary variety of
kelp, but enormously long strands of wet ocean matter that must have, to somebody, resembled some portion of a bull at one time.
It can grow to 50 feet or so, and is worst when bumped into whilst under water (scuba diving), as it is like running into a slippery tree. yuk.
