OK was the debut album from
Talvin Singh, released in 1998 on Island's Omni sub-label. Talvin Singh has probably been the man most associated with the mix of
drum and bass and
bhangra to come up with an exciting new (at the time) sound. The number of people who worked on this album was high enough that whoever did the album art made a little symbol for each one.

The sound of this album pretty far removed from danceable
drum and bass, save the second track. The beats
skitter in and out, and some of the tracks quite short, and only serve as links between longer sections.
