This version of
the Lord's Prayer is the standard Italian one, the one used by the
Roman Catholic church as an alternative to the Latin one since masses and prayers - in the second half of the 20th century -
started to be routinely held in Italian. This is an almost literal translation of the
original latin version and - differently from English versions - it' s
known only with the wording below:
Padre nostro che sei nei cieli
sia santificato il tuo nome
venga il tuo regno
sia fatta la tua volontà
come in cielo così in terra.
Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano
Rimetti a noi i nostri debiti
Come noi li rimettiamo ai nostri debitori.
E non ci indurre in tentazione
Ma liberaci dal male.

The Italian name for this prayer is "Padre nostro", that means "Father of ours", as the original Latin prayer was usually referred to as "Pater".
What follows is a very plain translation of the Italian version into English, verse by verse, trying to keep the 'taste' of the words. As the standard translation is modern, the Italian text has a modern sound, far from the thous and thys of the most common English version.
Father of ours, who are in heaven,
blessed be your name,
may your kingdom come,
