Alright. There are lots of times that I have thought, "I want to live Forever!" But, the more I think about it, the more I wonder about it. Would it really be that cool?
On the one hand, you don't have to worry about disease, starvation, burning alive or drowning at sea. Falls from any height wouldn't kill you, heck, you could jump out of a Ship orbiting the Earth and still wouldn't die!
But, on the other hand, just because you are immortal doesn't mean that you can't feel pain. Nor does it mean that you wouldn't feel the pain as the bullet pierces your flesh, or the dizziness as you bleed out...you just won't die from it. You could be pretty much liquified from the impact of falling off of the Empire State Building, and you'ld feel it all...just not be dead.
Maybe, after some things that can happen to you, it would be better if you were not able to continue to exist. Merciful even.
Immortality is such a bad idea....
