Chris Cunnigham and Michel Gondry, he is one of the best video artists around. His
videos perfectly match and complement the
music. Romanek won the Video Vanguard award at the
MTV Video Awards in 1997, and has won numerous other
MTV Video Awards, Clios,
Billboard awards, and
Grammy Awards. His best works include the dream-like and
surreal video for
Madonna's "Bedtime Story", the
gothic and
Edward Gorey-esque video for
Nine Inch Nails' "
The Perfect Drug", and the
thought-provoking video for
Janet Jackson's "
