King of East Anglia?

It is a matter of great uncertainty as to whether Ricberht was a king of the East Anglians.

All that is known of him is that he was a pagan, that he was possibly a son or stepson of the great king Raedwald and that he killed Eorpwald and removed him from power. Some therefore believe that he was king and say that he ruled between the years of 628 and 631 and that Sigeberht, brother of the dead Eorpwald fled the kingdom to the safety of the kingdom of the Franks before returning to avenge his brother's death.
