Their first single release was Oh My God, followed by I Predict A Riot, a reissue of Oh My God, Everyday I Love You Less and Less, a reissue of I Predict A Riot and Modern Way. You Can Have It All was also released as a special collector's edition single only available through the band's website. All the singles except You Can Have It All had corresponding music videos, with Oh My God and I Predict A Riot having two each.

Employment received critical acclaim from music magazines such as Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Blender.
