Scientology: More Secret levels... The NOTs

What about these "NOTs" then? How much does it all cost? Before I talk about the NOTs, I’d like to fill you all in on the Grade Chart above Clear. Once you become clear and have done the Sunshine rundown ($450.00 -- similar to a "locational") in which you are mean to "Validate the Abilities of Clear" [1993 Scientology: Your Bridge to Freedom and Ability booklet, item #2557], and then you go on to OT Eligibility ($175/h), which is akin to getting Security Clearence to enter the Pentagon. Sec Checks, as they are known are a regular feature of Scientology in which you get… basically… a Security Check. It’s meant to free you from the "harmfull effects of past transgressions" [1993 Scientology… #2557], but more often it can be used to blackmail members who "blow" or leave the cult.

The OT levels themselves run from OT I to OT VIII, in which you audit yourself. Yes, you have to even pay to train in on a Hubbard Solo Auditor Course, in which you learn just that.

Well… The grade chart actually goes up to OT XV in some versions, but OT IX won’t be released until all the present Orgs are the size of old Saint Hill (East Grinstead, England), in the 1960’s. Some people would say that means "not until hell freezes over"…

  • OT I to OT V can be done at an AO (or Advanced Organisation):
  • AOLA(*) Advanced Organisation of Los Angeles, 1306 North Berendo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90027, USA
  • AOSHEU Advanced Oranisation & Saint Hill for Europe and Africa, Jernbanegade 6, 1608 Copenhagen K, Denmark
  • AOSHUK Advanced Organisation & Saint Hill United Kingdom, Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 4JY, United Kingdom
  • AOSH ANZO Advanced Organisation & Saint Hill Australia, New Zealand and Oceania, 19-37 Greek Street, Glebe, NSW 2037, Australia
(*) America has its own Saint Hill (Orgs that can deliver Grades V, VA, etc to OT Eligibility).

OT VI and VII must be done at Flag (or the Flag Land Base), Clearwater, Florida. And, OT VIII on the FSSO (Flag Ship Service Org), or Freewinds.

Also on the grade chart, as "additional processing services" (i.e. not essential, but they shove them down your throat anyways…), are the L’s:

  • L10® Rundown®
  • L11®, New Life Rundown®
  • L12®, Flag OT Executive Rundown®
According to Lance Buckley, these are:
Special, extremely expensive Rundowns done by Class XII auditors (Scientology "therapists") who shout at the PC (patient) holding the soup cans electrodes of the Scientology E-Meter. The L’s material mentions the fact that the Reactive Mind, the storehouse of engrams or memories of pain and uncosciousness, is composed solely of Body Thetans or evil spirits.

Erm, so what are the NOTs? The NOTs or New Era Dianetics for OTs are actually levels of Dianetic auditing for OTs... Though one is Clear when embarking on the OT levels, ones Body Thetans (see Scientology's Advanced Levels) are not...

Yet, for those of you who know anything of Scientology and the "science" of Dianetics, the following will seem rather strange: In the HCO Bulletin of September 14, 1978, Dianetics was specifically forbidden for Clears and OTs: "New Era Dianetics or any Dianetics is NOT to be run on Clears or above or on Dianetic Clears ... Anyone who has purchased NED auditing who is Clear or above must ... receive the special NED Rundown for OTs. They are NOT to be run on regular New Era Dianetics." Ermmm, so NOTs is just a rundown? Hey, I want my money back! But seriously, the study of the NOTs is beyond the scope of e2; here is a URL for y'all:
