The Sri Caitanya Caritamrita is an 15th Century Vaishnava devotional text. Written in Bengali by Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami, this is his presentation of the life and philosophy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, a Bengali saint. Today, along with texts such as the Sri Srimad Bhagavatam it forms one of the central texts of the Hare Krishna movement.
