(Hinduism, Vaishnavism)

Bhugarbha Gosvami along with his intimate friend Lokanatha Gosvami, located lost sacred places in Vrindavana by the order of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. To avoid material distractions, Bhugarbha Gosvami would perform his worship to Krishna in a cave. Because of this, he received the name Bhugarbha (bhu means "earth," garbha means "cave" or "hidden place").
