Thin white icing (poetry)

Fresh from the tanning spa,
her cheeks flushed she
tasted of mint and salt

She pulled off her sweater, allowing access to
goose bump shoulders

My fingers traced the line between her waistband and her
exhale
It was sweet, and the colour of sugar

• tanning salon
• breath mint
• Kisses on my shoulder like little stars sparkling
• How not to faint when you can't move
