In the final point you make what would this continuity exist in
relation to? It seems to me that for any
causal chain of situations to exist there would necessarily have to be a concrete basis for reality.
Right and wrong have no meaning if everything is to be taken contextually. By this idea killing a person could be excused in a certain situation, but condemned in another. This causes problems when a strong stand has to be taken on any
issue.
Perhaps up close life can be seen from a relativistic point of view, but when we step back, away from ourselves, patterns begin to emerge that allow us to view life in a different light. Whether or not these patterns are set in motion by some kind of god is a topic for another node.
