Look back to that moment when your life took that fork in the road.
Look back a little further to that one insignificant occurrence,
that happened shortly before,

that caused you to act a certain way,

that caused you to meet a certain person,

which caused you to make a certain decision,

that changed your life and set you on your present course...

What if it never happened?

Where would you be now?
What would you be doing?
Who would you be with?

So I ask you....
How significant is this meeting of our eyes?
What subtle ripples do your words create in my life?
What effect will this act of kindness ultimately have?
With unlimited possibilities, I won't know for sure,
until again I pause and look back...
