Former opera student, sometime theatrical technician, ex-topless dancer and 70s porn star, Cantara Christopher has had a variety of careers and experiences. Consequently, she has picked up the knack of meeting--and listening to--interesting people.

AS WRITER: Her full-length romantic comedy was produced off-off Broadway and her fiction and memoirs have appeared in Comrades, Brevity, 3AM Magazine, and Margins.

AS MUSE: In 1999, she co-founded the international writers support group, PariSalon4665. She is the inspiration for the characters Simona, Terry, and Cookie in, respectively, the novels Tales From the Last Resort, Descending Into Heaven, and A Hole in the Fog, all by Michael Matheny.

AS EDITOR: Briefly serving as an editorial assistant at Macmillan, she was also once described as "the best English-language freelance fiction editor in Paris". She is currently in San Francisco, editing her first anthology, The Best of PariSalon4665.
