A monophonic analog synthesizer with a 37-note keyboard. Manufactured between 1979 and 1983.

CS-5 is the low end model of the CS series. It offers one VCO with sliders to control the amount of sawtooth and pulse waveforms, plus a white noise generator.
As a filter there is a resonant 12dB/octave multimode VCF switchable between high-, low- and band-pass. It features an external input for filtering outside sources, and also for triggering.
A single simple envelope generator is included, affecting both the VCF and the VCA. The LFO is used for PWM and offers sample/hold for random notes.

The CS-15 is basicially two CS-5:s stacked together, making it a more appealing unit due to its 2-oscillator sound.
