The S950 is an improved version of the popular S900 model.
The 750kB RAM is now upgradeable to 2.25MB, and an SCSI interface was made available as an option. The unit's floppy drive can use HD disks. A 13-pin voice output is added to the S950, along with an optional trigger-to-MIDI interface.
The software is also revised, with new features like crossfade looping and time stretch. It is also possible to upgrade the S900 with the software to enable the new functions.
