You will need
Preheat oven to 160C/325F/Gas 3.
Mix all the ingredients together except for the asparagus.
Line the base of an 850ml/1.5pt loaf tin with foil.
Cut the asparagus to fit the bottom of the tin, layering half the asparagus neatly in alternate directions.
Spoon half the turkey mixture on top. Cover with the remaining asparagus followed by the remaining turkey meat.
Smooth the top flat and cover with foil.
Cook in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
The terrine is cooked when the mixture shrinks from the sides of the tin.
Leave to cool before slicing.
