Imagine the creepiness of Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs. Then, imagine the hallucinations suffered by Tim Robbins' character in Jacob's Ladder. Mix those two together, and you have the basis for The Cell.

The Cell is a fascinating trip through the world of our dreams. Finally, someone was able to catch on film the strange, dark places that my mind sometimes goes when I am asleep. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The eye candy was almost more than I could handle.

While I enjoyed this movie a lot, I found that a lot of the acting was wooden and felt forced. If this movie did not have the amazing visuals it had, I would have probably hated it. See it at matinee prices if possible, because you might be disappointed if you pay full price for it.

If I was a teacher, I would give this movie a B.
