The Centennial Conference is a NCAA Division III conference. Founded in 1981 as a football-only conference amongst eight private colleges. It has since become an all-sports conference and several more schools have been added to the ranks. Now the memeber institutions compete in field hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, lacrosse, softball, and more in addition to football.
