An online and RL organization, San Francisco Women on the Web. They administer a mailing list, a website, and occasional real-life get-togethers. SFWOW's membership is made up of techies, web-entrepeneurs, artists, and any sort of computer-aware woman living in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Their website, www.sfwow.org, has instructions on joining the list, as well as a groovy list of resources that's useful to people new to the area. Atmosphere: Friendly, non-elitist, inclusive. Not politically-oriented.
