The expressed juice of a plant, for medicinal use.
Succus entericus (). [NL., literally, juice of the intestines.] Physiol. A fluid secreted in small by certain glands (probably the glands of Lieberkuhn) of the small intestines. Its exact action is somewhat doubtful.
