The third full-length album by Lacuna Coil, Comalies is undoubtedly the most polished yet. Released in 2000, it has enjoyed considerable success among fans, and has opened the door to new listeners due to its more mainstream sound (see "Heaven's a Lie", "Daylight Dancer").

While Comalies is not my favorite (I prefer Unleashed Memories, but only slightly), it does feature the best single song Lacuna Coil has ever done-- "Daylight Dancer". All in all, a solid and thoroughly enjoyable album, embodying all that we love about Lacuna Coil--excellent vocals, unusual and interesting music, and solid production.
