Well respected science fiction author who also wrote Star Trek novels in the heyday of Pocket Books' publishing program. She wrote the novelizations of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
She was also tapped to write Pocket Books' version of the original series' origin, as it were: Enterprise: The First Adventure.
