Precious porcelain weathering,
withering in days under the wrath of the sun.

I am the tea cup, floating without choice,
fracturing under the constant expansion and retraction.

Bound to be a ruin on the sea floor.
In solace from the unforgiving radiating heat.

When to this stress will I succumb,
when will this cycle come undone--

this measurement in the test of time,
a symbol of Human history.

P.S. Pepper, if it's actually inhaled, will make somebody sneeze!
