Thoughts on trying to find amateur artists

As quite a few of you will know via my journal and other sources, I have recently taken a few thinking-outside-the-box-type moves, in an effort to keep my company (Photocritic) afloat. Essentially, it is all print-related.

Basically, I've now started offering print sales of a selection of my photographs ( http://www.printsales.com ), but after I went through all the trouble of setting up a working e-commerce solution, I decided to also tack on a sub-vendor programme. Basically: Let other artists sell their prints via my web-site against a small commission.

All is well, except once everything was set up and ready to go, I suddenly realised something: Where the hell does one find decent amateur photographers who want their prints selling? Most people already use a service such as DeviantArt or DPCprints (both of which take 50% commission, against our 15%), and I can't exactly spam the fuck out of them either.

So, my own personal little challenge to the E2 community:

Are you a, or do you know any talented photographers / graphical artists?

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can find people who fall into the category above, without resorting to spam-bombing a community?

Answers per e-mail to printsales@photocritic.org or via a /msg. For more info, you may be interested in reading my sales-babble at http://kamps.org/g/?subv
