The
term for
evolution used by some
religious fundamentalists. These people believe that
creationism is the only
belief that is
compatible with their
religion (usually
fundamentalist Christianity), and that evolution is little more than an
atheist belief and an attempt to
attack their religion.
However, many people of faith do feel that evolution and their religion are compatible.
