In the Babylon 5 universe, an archeological corporation. They send expeditions to explore the ruins of ancient civilizations on distant worlds in the hopes of recovering advanced technology. Often has less than noble intentions, as do most evil megacorporations. May or may not just be a government front--IE was referred to early on as nothing more than a front organization for various illegal activities, but later on in the series they seemed to gain some credibility and everyone treated them as a semi-reputable company.
